Interstate 229 ramp eastbound to U.S. Route 36 to be closed today

Crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation are planning to close the south bound Interstate 229 ramp to eastbound to U.S. Route 36 in Saint Joseph today from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for bridge sealing.

The work will also close the right lane of 36 from I-229 to just west of 22nd street for sealing and crew safety.

All work is weather permitting, and motorists will need to use a different route during the closure.
